"You Are Attracted To The Patterns The Water Makes"

The above shot was taken at about 8:30 in the morning; a collection of water droplets after rain showers the night before.  What drew me to it was the perfect circles that the droplets made and how together they formed sort of a perfect pattern of shapes big and small.  The stray orange leaf helped to add a bit of color :).

Hours later at around 3pm, I walked past this same object and noticed that the water had completely dried up leaving stale water spots and the leaf was no longer there.  I'm glad to have taken the shot when I did rather than write it off as a silly distraction.  Gives new meaning to the phrase, "stop and smell the roses".

PS     As I was taking this picture, an older gentlemen walking by stopped to look at what I was doing and said "Ahhhh, you are attracted to the patterns the water makes".  To which I responded "Yes, they are so cool!" lol.  Thus I quoted the gentlemen as the title of this post.  :)
