My Image File (Repost)

Good Morning Everyone!

It's finally here, New Year's Eve. How exciting!  Earlier this week I wrote about feeling quite nervous about the impending new year; making resolutions, sticking to them, and taking it one day at a time.  My nervousness has turned into complete acceptance for the changes that the new year will bring for me.  I remain faithful and encouraged in moving forward by the lesson's I've learned in the past and the journey that is ahead of me.

This morning, after reading Mera Koh's blog post titled 10 New Year's Exercises for the Artist Within, I was inspired to write about exercise #3.  Six months ago, I wrote a post called Image File where I grabbed a bunch of magazines and clipped several images of things that appealed to me the most.  I found that most of my clippings were centered around traveling; pictures of beautiful islands, beaches, mountains and so much more.  I realized from that little exercise that it is my profound desire to travel the world and explore different cultures.  I'd like to share more with you about my experience in doing this exercise.  CLICK HERE to see more :).

Have a safe and wonderful New Year's everybody.  I look forward to connecting with you all in 2010!

With Love,

Ariane

Jamaica Sunset

PS  If you're wondering about the significance of the photo in the post, let me explain.  The photo was taken at sunset on the beautiful island of Jamaica.  Every time I look at it, it takes me back to that very moment watching the sunset and how wonderful it was to see the beauty of this world.
